| We hope you appreciate the first 3D relief carving from Jay Leslie's - Miracle Magic Company - The Golden Disk Of Amun-Re, 3D.
Amun and Amun-Ra. according to Wickopidia and other sources: Amun was a member of the Ogdoad, representing creation of energies with Amaunet, a very early patron of tjhe city of Thebes. As with most widely worshiped ancient Egyptian deities, Ra's identity was often confused with others. Different regional religions were merged in an attempt to unite the ancient civilization. Amun was believed to create energy via breath, and therefore was identified with the wind rather than the sun. As the cults of Amun and Ra became increasingly popular in Upper and Lower Egypt respectively, they were eventually combined to create Amun-Ra, a solar-creator god. While it is hard to distinguish exactly when this combination happened, the references to Amun-Ra appeared written inside pyramid as early as the fifth dynasty. The most common belief is that Amun-Ra was invented as a new state deity by the Theban rulers of their new kingdom to unite worshipers of Amun with the older cult of Ra, around the eighteenth dynasty. Additionally, ancient Egyptians were facinated how the sun dissapeared at night because it appeared to rotate around the Earth. Clint Reidel's original story line told of a careless priest who left the sun disk on the floor of the temple one night and when he found it in the morning it had rose by itself to take its place on the alter (wand). Reidel made his version using stencils and spray paint to decorate the front panel LINK. He usually desorated his equipment n this sparce way. im Swoger, House Of Enchantment, bought the rights on june 8th 1974 (which in turn were bought by Jay Leslie who is the current and only authorized manufacturer.) Swoger immediatly gave the effect a facelift by adding the two-headed cobra on the sides and the wings to the front using a five color silkscreening process. When Jay Leslie made his first version in 2006 (House Of Enchantment) it was designed in the "Layered:" look he is known for using composite materials. Link to all other versions |

| Our current offering is completly made from hard woods excluding a few metal hinges and a new gimmick invented by Jay Leslie himself. This offering is the first, of it's kind, carved cabinet that is both beautiful and functional. See what it takes to costruct this cabnet. You won''t have to wait fifty years for this to be a collectors item as it is aleady a beauty to behold and easy to perform.
Several years ago Jay bought a small CNC machine from Carl Williams (the same model Carl used to manufacture many of his masterpieces). Over time Jay grew to like CNC craftsmanship but needed better programs to create more involved features and shapes. Jay Leslie is the first person manufacturing magic to purchase a full size CNC machine and the sophicisticad software that's needed for releif carvings. Below is a description of the three phase routine. |
||||||||||||
| The first phase: The front is opened and the disk is set on the floor of the cabnet. The front panel is closed. A magic wand is placed in one side and out the other. (The audience sees both ends of the wand.) The front panel is opened and the disk has magically penetrated up and onto the solid wand, clearly seen suspended in the middle of the cabnet. See what it takes to construct the Sun Disk
The second phase, which has a never-before seen gimmick: The disk is set on the table in plain view. The front panel is closed, then the wand is inserted through the cabnet. The disk (which is completly solid and may be examined) is lowered through the open top. The front panel is now opened to reveal the disk which has again penetrated the wand. The third phase, which Jay Leslie added to the routine: The wand and disk are visably removed. The front panel is closed. The disk is lowered and the wand placed through the cabnet. The front panel is opened to prove the wand is really running through the disk. As soon as you close the front panel and make a magical gesture it's opened to show the disk has completly vanished. The disk is reproduced from another location such as your pocket, |

| Everyone who has layed eyes on this relief carved cabinet had been mesmorized. Most say it should be in a museum. If you act in a timely fashon it will be part of your collection too. Because of the many hours of design time and testing parts we opted to make twenty four. Only twenty four will ever be made including the sample in the photo. Each will be signed and numbered. The best part is, this is a functional piece of equipment you will perform on a moments notice should your guests inquire. Jay can only makie six at a time because they take aproximatly a week each to construct. The inside is flocked black, the outside has 10 coats of finish. All in all it looks like something made a hundred years ago yet it also looks like it was made yesterday. | ||||||||||||
| Because of variences in natural wood each is slightly different from each other in tone and grain pattern. The crowning detail of this magnificent work of art is the magic wand. Jay found several rods made of Bakelite (originally purchased in the 40s) and used them to make the magic wand tips which is a collectors item itself. The solid brass center of the wand dispells any notion it may come apart. Each Golden Disk Of Amun Re, 3D include a brass wand with Bakelite tips as depicted in the photo.
The Golden Disk Of Amun Re 3D, only $1,950.00 plus shipping. When they are spoken for there will be no more. |
